Job Description

A Divine Event is a Catering and Special Events company producing private events through-out Atlanta and Athens. We are currently hiring Event Staff for our busy spring and fall seasons. This is part-time, flexible scheduling on a pick up basis. Event Staff are responsible for the set-up, service and break down of our special events. Event Staff lift and carry equipment, set tables with linens and flatware, build buffets and food stations. Event Staff re-load food stations; offer appetizers, champagne and cake from tray service; bus and maintain the facility during the event. We promote a fun positive work environment, centered on team work.    

What Part will you play?

The Event Staff member plays a vital role in the success of an event from beginning to end. Our Event Staff is crucial to ensuring our guests receive A perfectly Divine Event. The attention to details and drive for excellence that they possess is what sets us apart from our competition. Much of our feedback from our clients reflects the graciousness and professionalism of our staff. We pride ourselves on having dedicated team members who will maintain our company philosophy and help us to continue to lead the industry in all aspects of Special Events. 

What will you be doing?

  • Work with the rest of the Event Team to execute small and large events during the week and weekend, at locations throughout the Atlanta and Athens area.
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, serving guests and producing all levels of events from meetings for national corporations to local social gatherings
  • Hourly pay is based on experience and responsibilities, and there is potential for growth. Times and hours vary according to the event schedule.

  • Passion for executing “Divine” events
  • Energetic self-starter with attention to detail
  • Team-player with a positive attitude
  • Effective and professional communication in English required
  • Ability to lift and move an minimum of 30 pounds
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Must be available Saturdays. Event opportunities available 7 days per week

Desired Skills & Certifications 

  • Hospitality or restaurant experience 
  • Event or trade show industry experience
