Event Operations Equipment Coordinator

Job Description

A Divine Event is a Catering and Special Events company producing private events through-out Atlanta and Athens. We are currently hiring Event Operations Equipment Coordinators for part-time, flexible scheduling. Equipment Coordinators drive catering trucks (up to 24 feet long), manage, lift and carry equipment, unload and reload catering trucks. Equipment Coordinators support the Event team by building displays, setting tables with linens and flatware, building buffets and food stations, and making sure the facility is show ready for the event. We promote a fun, positive work environment, centered on teamwork.  Flexible scheduling on a pick up basis. 

Required Skills

  • Five years driving experience
  • Valid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
  • Must be available weekday mornings on a pick up basis  
  • Must have reliable transportation to report to work 
  • Must be able to lift and move minimum of 75 lbs  

Desired Skills & Certifications 

  • Truck driver experience: 16 to 24 foot moving vans
  • Hospitality or food service experience 
  • Event or trade show industry experience
